Saxo and vertical tubular turbines
Compact, hybrid low-head solutions that significantly reduce civil engineering costs.
When looking for a highly reliable and cost-effective alternative for green energy production, our Saxo, Vertical Tubular turbines offer a unique advantage. Blending the best characteristics of classic Kaplan and Bulb technologies into a compact hybrid package, these turbines eliminate the need for complex spiral cases.
This sophisticated design results in a relatively short and narrow powerhouse, drastically reducing excavation and concreting requirements while preserving excellent operating characteristics.

Core features
The saxo and vertical tubular
turbine advantage
Designed to significantly reduce civil engineering costs, these compact low-head solutions eliminate the need for complex spiral cases. Blending the best of Kaplan and Bulb technologies, they deliver reliable green energy with a minimal powerhouse footprint.

Compact saxo design
Eliminating the traditional spiral case, the vertical SAXO turbine combines the advantages of Kaplan and Bulb designs. The generator is Factory pre-assemly significantly shortens site works duration. Generator is easily accessible as with the calssic Kaplan units

Vertical tubular turbine
The tubular turbine features an open-flume water passage and a streamlined generator integrated directly into the flow path. The compact arrangement minimizes hydraulic losses, making it suitable for low-head applications where and cost- and time-effective civil works are key project drivers.

Reduced civil footprint
Designed for fast installation using factory-preassembled sub-assemblies. By removing the bulky spiral casing, they require a much narrower powerhouse, drastically cutting expensive excavation and concreting costs.
